Privacy & Protection of Minors

Naptown Stomp as an organization is open to persons of all ages — although attendees should be aware a substantial majority of members are 18-60 years old, and lessons and social events are structured accordingly and tailored towards adults. That being said, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our underage members and attendees. All minors (those under 18 years old) must be accompanied at lessons and events by an adult sponsor at all times, even if the adult is attending as an observer and not participating themselves. Due to the risk of injury and other concerns, we do not recommend children under the age of 13 attend events or lessons. However, if the child’s parent or guardian directly supervises the child, the child may attend. Please notify president@naptownstomp.org IN ADVANCE if you are attending with a minor so that we may assist in registration and staff, instructors, and photographers may be made aware accordingly.

In compliance with federal law and the Children’s Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA), we state: This Website is not intended or designed to attract children under the age of 13. We do not collect personally identifiable information from any person we know is a child under the age of 13. If Naptown Stomp learns it has collected information through the Internet from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. We recommend that minors between the ages of 13 and 18 ask and receive their parents’ permission before using the Naptown Stomp website or sending information about themselves or anyone else over the Internet.
