Secretary – Manuel Robayo

Manuel’s Lindy Hop story began a late night of 2009 when he saw a Swing Out or Two across the room of a Florida’s Steak ‘n Shake performed by some oddly dressed folks. By and by Manuel started a journey that started with a rock step, the purchase of a first ivy hat, and meeting dancers wanting to share a gift.

After a long but failed student-career that ended in a degree, Manuel moved crossroads of America following good fortune in 2015. He was happy to find a welcoming and thriving dancing community in the Midwest, and he is looking to forward to extending its hospitality to others.

When Manuel is not out dancing, or writing in the third person, he likes to be outdoors hiking with good company, whatever his back can carry, and the presence of mind to be thankful.
