March Lessons and Dances Canceled

Naptown Stomp is committed to being a fun, safe community. In light of recent events with the rapidly-evolving COVID-19, we have made the decision to cancel lessons and dances for the remainder of March.

This is not to induce panic or fear, but instead to prioritize the health and safety of our community. We have been and will continue to monitor the situation and while we currently do not fall under the Governor’s guidelines for cancelling events here in Indiana, we realize our community travels quite a bit for dance events and the nature of our organization includes close contact. Neither helps to stop the spread of the virus, and this is the responsible thing to do.

We will be keeping an eye on the situation and hope we may be able to return tentatively on April 9. This is NOT a firm date as we will review the situation as April draws closer. We will continue to follow the guidelines set by the State of Indiana, CDC, and health professionals and once we feel comfortable we will return to our regular schedule.

For the most up-to-date information please keep an eye on NaptownStomp.org, our Facebook page, join the Naptown Stomp Dancers Facebook Group and sign up to receive our weekly newsletter.

We will still be around and want be supportive of our community! (Check out The Swungover quick guide to coping with COVID-19 – in the comments on our Facebook page) Please contact us if you have questions or concerns. We want to keep everyone healthy so we can enjoy dancing again together soon!

In health,
Naptown Stomp Board
