President

Kerry Kapaku

Kerry has been dancing her whole life, but began swing dancing in 2011 at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. While at OSU, Kerry served as the secretary, president, and event coordinator for the Swing Dance Club, and organized, taught at and DJed at their weekly lessons and dances. Kerry has also taught for SwingColumbus, and has DJed, taught, and competed at both local and regional events around the midwest. Since moving to Indianapolis in the spring of 2014, Kerry has taught lessons for Naptown, DJ-ed at Stomping Grounds, and has served as the Instructor Coordinator for the Naptown Stomp executive board. When she’s not swing dancing, Kerry teaches ballet and contemporary dance and has performed professionally with Ballet Theatre of Indiana and Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre. Kerry is excited to be in her third term as President of Naptown Stomp, and can’t wait to help foster the growth of such an awesome lindy hop scene!
