Meet the 2010 Officers
Doug Sutton
President
Doug started swing dancing in 2006 and has been loving it ever since. As president, he's committed to making the local Lindy Hop scene stronger, and continuing the Naptown Stomp legacy. He also loves traveling to other scenes to dance, meet new people and experience the local culture. This is Doug's third year as an officer.

Jonathan Tigert
Instructor Coordinator (Lead)
Back in a cold dark room in Nashville TN, Jon first learned the infamous dance only known as "The Lindy Hop." From that moment on, he has traveled down the dark path revealed to him that day, only to make it his life revolve around the dance and its history. Jon has been teaching at Butler University, The University of Indianapolis and Naptown Stomp for over a year now, and is always thrilled to take on a new class. When Jon is not teaching, dancing, choreographing or performing, he spends most of his time watching videos of other people dancing, listening to great jazz music, studying the history of the dances he loves, or eating ham sandwiches (with 1 slice of lettuce and just enough mayo, and maybe an occasional tomato). Jon thinks that above all else, dancing is about having fun and pushing your limits. As long as you are having fun, then you are doing it right. In the words of Artie Shaw, "If you never make a mistake, you clearly aren't trying hard enough."
